Site Guide
Tutorial
This is the place to start if you're new to nonograms, in this section I take you through the steps that you need to take to solve a nonogram. To make this learning experience as easy as possible, I've given you an example nonogram (which I've selected from my site) and gone through each step that I went through to solve it.
Puzzles
This section contains a large number of puzzles that you can try to solve right now. These puzzles are listed in order of increasing size in the left frame of this page. All you have to do is click on a file directory and a list of all the nonograms of the specified size with be displayed. When you click a specific file, the nonogram will be displayed in the right hand frame of the screen, and now you're ready to solve it. If you're experiencing any difficulties, then please see my tutorial page.
Creating
If you think of yourself as an artist, then this is the section that you may be spending most of your time on. You can design a nonogram on a grid from an option of 16 sizes, first of all you need to decide how complex your design is - then figure out which size option is best. The size options are available from a pulldown menu on the left hand frame, please be aware that the bigger the nonogram you decide to create, the more system resources this will require, if you have less that 64Mb of space then I suggest nothing bigger than 25 by 30. Anything above 64Mb should be ok with all nonogram types. It is extrememly important that you keep to these guide lines, or your system may crash.
